Three Generations
Three generations come together on the last day of 2023. One of my favorite parts of my career is seeing families come together for family portrait sessions. It was a brisk morning, but this family rallied and made the best out of it. The first family session with both kiddos, parents, auntie, and grandparents. We laughed and created new memories for everyone to enjoy for years to come. One of my new favorite parks in The Villages, is Fenney Springs Nature Trail. Family photos are a must for every family to cherish forever. As a central Florida photographer, I have found some of the best local parks to use for family photos. Welcome 2024!
Bye Bye, 2023! Hello, 2024. I enjoyed meeting all my new clients last year and seeing familiar ones. Families coming together after years of being apart was amazing. With traveling becoming more available I hope to see more families reunite and document their time together. This year is going to be full of new experiences, new people, and new adventures. This was one for the books! It wasn’t easy getting there, but once we made it on to the beach, we succeeded. We met at Flagler Street in New Smyrna Beach on a warm afternoon hoping for a less crowded beach. NSB is a small, east coast beach town with charm and a favorite place for both of us. This amazing woman was celebrated for being a strong, spirited soul, empowering herself to be the best she can be. She rocked this session wearing a buckskin bikini (https://www.sergioscustomleather.com) on her gorgeous Harley.

The Core of Happiness
This senior wanted a unique place away from the "normal" of our everyday. Living in Central Florida, we have unique places close by tucked away down a small road with this at the end. White Sands Buddhist Center is a peaceful place just east of Orlando close to the coast. This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. We walked and absorbed all we could. These immense statues beamed with a calming effect and made this session relaxing. What a beautiful place for meditation, peace, and tranquility, a hidden gem.
Disney’s Boardwalk with the fur babes.
Did you know your fur babies get treated as well as you if not better, haha! This couple contacted me when they found out the news that their fur baby had cancer and didn’t have much time left. They love Disney and their fur baby, so naturally, bringing him to the happiest place on earth was the best thing to do.
We met at The Boardwalk an hour before sunset. It was a warm evening but the breeze off the lake was a nice relief. We walked around to the east side of the lake to watch the sunset while the two pups led the way. I love the Boardwalk with its colorful buildings that meet nature with a grassy lawn and white sandy beach. This session was emotional for all of us and the memories that were created will be there forever to remember.
Clermont Historic Village
Who doesn’t love the Clermont Historic Village? It’s quaint, beautiful, and has the best view of lake Minneola. The little village can be visited anytime but tours are only on the weekends. Take a tour every Saturday and Sunday, 1-4pm. Walk over to Victory Pointe, catch the sunset, and maybe a gator too. This sweet family had their first family session and it did not disappoint.

This family’s first session with me was a total success! The golden hour showed off tonight with a beautiful clear sky. We headed out to their family’s property in South Lake county and it did not disappoint. The light was on point and so were their personalities. Just as the sun went down, I said, run, and we ran onto the field and nailed those final shots. I love making memories with families and creating these beautiful photographs for them to cherish forever.
Disney’s boardwalk
Disney’s Boardwalk is such a cute little spot to take family photos while you’re in town on vacation. The Swan Hotel, The Dolphin Hotel, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and the backside of Epcot surround beautiful Cresent Lake at Disney’s Boardwalk.

What is a Branding session? Branding sessions are customized for each person and offer a variety of high-quality images used for business purposes. Each session is catered to the unique needs of clients and their business. This professional representation of each individual is expressed and captured in their session.
With these two business partners, we headed to downtown Orlando for their branding session and boy, did we have fun! Lake Louisa State Park fun…
One of my favorite places to visit is Lake Louisa State Park. This beautiful park is located in Clermont, Florida, in lovely Central Florida with over 20 miles of trails, including lakes and more. Before the couple arrived, I drove around the park looking for a new spot and found it. We walked a bit for these first few shots but it was totally worth it. The light, the couple, the location all came together and they had a blast hugging, laughing, and twirling around. Senior session at Ponce Inlet
Just south of Daytona Beach is a small town called Ponce Inlet. It has become my favorite beach for my photo sessions and each entrance has a unique walkway covered in seagrapes. When I first photographed this beauty she was short and sweet. Now she’s tall, still sweet, and about to graduate high school! We had the best time walking around this little park at the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. Then we headed to the beach to find a beautiful spot that was perfect for this senior. She is going to do BIG things, I know it! Graduation photos at the beach are the best!
The Reflection Pond
A reflection pond feels magical. Everyone wants to be around it. It brings happiness, serenity, and peace to the soul. On a small road off the beaten path is a special place people live, visit, gather, play, and enjoy life. Bella Collina in Montverde is home to this reflection pond overlooking Lake Apopka in Central Florida.
When you move I drive to your new place…
When one of my favorite families moves, I go. This family moved to a new place in the country and found their space. This beautiful land with clean air, lots of space, was just what they dreamed of. Starting with chickens and pine trees, they will expand as they get settled. Adding a new little one to the mix with an active toddler was eventful. It was a fun time running around this amazing piece of property in northern Florida chasing the toddler and keeping the newborn appeased. Luckily, there was a very patient 12 year old smiling for me and keeping an eye on his brothers. This sweet family has found a little piece of heaven.
Senior session at Disney Springs
As a military kid, she traveled the world as a child and lived all over the globe. Her one constant was Disney World in Orlando, Florida. These DVC members considered the Saratoga as their home base and their property is quite beautiful. We had the best time walking the grounds and reminiscing about childhood memories at Disney World. Congrats to this senior and to Disney World for their 50th anniversary.
A boardwalk proposal…
After much persuasion this lady braved the rain for a surprise proposal at Disney’s boardwalk. She was surprised and it was so romantic. This is the most unforgettable proposal to date for me. Thanks to the Disney Boardwalk for a beautiful experience and colorful setting.
P.S. It was sunny all day until right before the session. Leave it to Florida!
Beach sessions rain or shine…
Beach sessions are in full swing and I am offering them through the fall. The beach is my happy place as it is for so many others. Why are oceans so magical? Is it the sounds of the waves crashing, the wind on your face, the sand between your toes, or all of the above? For me, it’s all of those and more. Who is ready for the 2021-2022 school year? I know I am! Now is the time to book your senior’s session. On location sessions are they way to go. My list of unique locations has something for everyone. This is going to be a great school year and I can’t wait to meet new seniors.
Hello, 2021!
2021 is finally here and I am embracing the down time after the holiday rush. My family and I wanted to begin the new year by supporting our local businesses. Our first trip was to an alpaca farm just over 10 minutes from our house. I’ve been wanting to visit for awhile now and finally made an appointment. LunaSea Alpaca Farm is a family owned farm here in Clermont not too far out of town. I have driven by a million times and never knew what was down this little lane. To my surprise, a cute little farm with chickens, ducks, dogs, a few llamas but mostly alpacas. The tour was funny, informative, and the alpacas were just the sweetest big “dogs.” The weather was delightful and my kids had the best time not only getting out of the house but supporting a local business. The babies are adorable and friendly, you’ll quickly fall in love. Here are some photos from the farm. Enjoy!
Who is ready for 2021?
Everyone!!!!! Winter is my slowest time but I love it because I can recover from a crazy busy fall. This past January and February were slow and steady as I was gearing up for a fun-filled spring with new clients coming to Florida on vacation and a few weddings. March came and Covid with it. When everything shutdown so did my business. How crushing that was and still is for so many. On one hand, I was available to help my kids with virtual school but on the other hand I had no income for months. Small businesses are dying and it’s going to take a miracle to get many if any back up and running. Fortunately, my phone starting ringing again and I am beyond thankful for my clients and friends. I can not wait to show you the new images from the past few months. For now, here’s a sneak peek of one of my favorite families:) Bring on 2021!!!
Hello, October!
Fall is officially here and I am ready for a busy season! This is my favorite time of the year because I get to see some of my favorite families and meet new ones. This year is extra special because it’s been a rough one and we could all use some happy memories to remember we survived this crazy year. Here are some faves from my sessions this past year.
